July 19, 2012, Ottawa, ON — Now available in print and on-line is the summer edition of Equine Canada Magazine. This issue is dedicated to the London 2012 Games and Paralympic Games, featuring profiles of Canada’s past and present Olympians and Paralympians, a chronological history of Canadian rider and horse performances and information on Canada’s complete support team, as well as special messages from Team Leader Kerri McGregor and Equine Canada President Mike Gallagher. The 2012 Olympic Games are being held in Greenwich, London, England, from July 27 to August 12, with the Paralympic Equestrian competition scheduled from August 30 to September 9.

The ‘London Calling’ edition can be downloaded from the Equine Canada homepage. Subscribers should watch for their printed copies in the mail within the week.

Equine Canada has also launched a dedicated London 2012 website where enthusiasts can access rider biographies, competition schedules, photos, results and more.  Visitors are encouraged to check-in often for news and events as the Games unfold.

Fans can also follow along with Canada’s riders on the Equine Canada Facebook page where first-hand rider accounts and photos will be shared throughout the summer. Canada’s riders love to receive your expressions of support and encouragement — comment often!

You can view the complete Equestrian and Para-Equestrian competition schedules here. Want to watch along? Here’s a schedule of televised coverage.
